So its been over a year since I've made a journal entry on here. Obviously I haven't picked up the pencil to draw since I got a fulltime salary job with my degree. Then again I don't feel like its my thing in life to do. Its more of expression of what I'm feeling and since I don't draw anymore I haven't felt the urge to do so. Life has been busy with working, getting engaged, losing work, but still getting married in August.
Though what spurred me to actually write here is that a longtime friend of mine is getting hated on dA here with death and rape threats because she was on AI, said she was an Otaku, and was turned down.
Now most of the spammers act like fodder from 4chan. They make comments with such apathy that it sickens me. They make comments without looking at the mirror themselves. Attacking someone who wanted to just get the chance improve their singing. Most obviously a good chunk of the spam they write here on dA is because she doesn't know them. These mostly anonymous comments from those that she would not have any idea who they may be like other than trolls who have nothing better to do than to act like 10 year olds behaving in a sick fashion.
Really? Death and rape threats on dA? Wow I never thought that this site would fall to such depths of trash.

Congrats on getting married in August, and on the job! I'm glad to hear things have been working out for you, at least for the most part.
Really sorry to hear about your friend, that is utterly disgusting...But I suppose wherever mass amounts of people gather, it's bound to happen. Doesn't make it okay, though. :/

And yes...there is a lot of trash on DA now. Which is why many people have left the site or at the very least make it a site they check every so often as opposed to all the time, as they used to do.

And yeah, I pop into IRC off and on now. I'm trying to pop in on a regular basis. Both in IRC and on here as well as MSN and what not. Because if I don't, the random times when I do come back are like "HOLY SHIT HE'S ALIVE!" So yeaah....
